Every season there are big surprises for every NBA team. This will be no different for the Los Angeles Lakers, who should be pleasantly surprised with this season.

The Los Angeles Lakers are primed for the most exciting season of Lakers basketball since Kobe Bryant was winning championships with Pau Gasol, Derek Fisher and Andrew Bynum. Los Angeles now boasts the best basketball player in the world, LeBron James, and a group of guys that will be very fun to watch.

We know what we are going to get out of the Lakers this season; an exciting style of play that pushes the pace up and down the court. With James added to a team that was already one of the league’s fastest in terms of pace, we are sure to get plenty of highlights this year.

And while we may know what to expect in terms of style of play and the ballpark range of where the Lakers will finish in the standings, there are a lot of things that we do not know.

Every season, especially for the Lakers, there is some sort of surprise. Kyle Kuzma was the biggest surprise of last season along with the midseason trade for Isaiah Thomas that essentially set LeBron up to come to LA.

This year will be no different. Despite how much coverage the Lakers are now getting with LeBron, there will still be some surprises that slip through the cracks.
