The Los Angeles Dodgers will win the NL Pennant — here’s why

1. The Los Angeles Dodgers are the deepest team in the National League
Not only are the Los Angeles Dodgers the deepest team in the National League but the Dodgers might also be the deepest team in the MLB heading into the postseason. While depth can only go so far, the Dodgers have legitimately talented pieces that are going to be a headache for any opposing manager to manage against.
The Dodgers are so deep in positioned players that the team can throw out any assortment of lineup to keep the opposing team from dictating the ballgame. The Dodgers dictate the matchups they want to see and that is a luxury that not every team has this postseason.
Want to throw a southpaw out against these Dodgers? There is nothing to worry, the Dodgers brought in pieces such as David Freese to help the left-handed cause and have an assortment of hitters that fare well against left-handed pitchers.
Have a right-handed pitcher going on the mound? That is when it gets really scary for those facing the Dodgers, who have left-handed power hitters such as Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy and Yasmani Grandal (when he is hot) to go behind the team’s two best hitters, Justin Turner and Manny Machado.
Anything an opposing manager throws at the Dodgers can be countered with a team that has been meticulously pieced together for this exact moment.
