Anthony Davis has been at the forefront of the latest Lakers rumors. Here is why we think the superstar will eventually end up in LA no matter what.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be searching for a second superstar to join LeBron James and create a team that is worthy of winning titles and setting up a dynasty. Although James only has four years on his contract, the Lakers boast a promising young core that can carry on the success.

Bringing in another star that can not only win a ring with James but continue the winning trend for several years is important. Thus, instead of getting a secondary superstar like Klay Thompson, the Lakers may have their sites set even higher.

One of the highest points the Lakers can set the sites is on Anthony Davis, who is easily a top-five player in the NBA and arguably the third-best behind LeBron and Kevin Durant.

These are more than just lofty goals, however, as legitimate Lakers rumors have been surrounding Davis. The biggest reason for this is Davis’ decision to leave his old agency and join Rich Paul of Klutch Sports Group, the same representative for LeBron James.

That alone is not concrete evidence that Davis will eventually be on his way to LA. However, there are other factors that make this pairing a lot more likely than it may seem.

Anthony Davis will be a Los Angeles Laker sooner or later. Here are our three biggest indications on why that is the case.
