1. LeBron James records a triple-double

There is a good possibility of LeBron James dropping a triple-double every single night. While he has never averaged a triple-double over a season, like Russell Westbrook has the last two seasons, he is dang near close and got as close as he ever has last season.

James averaged 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game. He tied his career high in rebounds per game from the year before and set a new personal best in assists per game. It’s truly crazy how he set personal bests in his age 33 season.

LeBron recorded 18 triple-doubles last season, a number that is actually much lower than his averages would indicate. It only took five games for LeBron to record his first triple-double of the year, though.

This season will be a much quicker path to the first triple-double as LeBron will be looking to make a statement in his first game in LA; not in the sense of scoring a ton but proving that the Lakers truly are a contender.

Expect James to score somewhere around 23 points with an upwards of 15 assists. He will naturally snag at least 10 rebounds as he is the best rebounder on a team that is not great at the center position.
