1. Can the Los Angeles Lakers have a good game from three?

The Los Angeles Lakers have been pretty bad in shooting the three-ball through two games this season. Entering the year, this was one of the biggest concerns around the team, which lacked a true sharpshooter like past LeBron teams have had, such as Kyle Korver.

I was one of the people going to bat for the Lakers and the team’s three-point shooting. Josh Hart was criminally underrated as a three-point shooter and Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope,  and Brandon Ingram are all respectable shooters.

Will the Lakers be this bad from beyond the arc for the entire season? Probably not. However, the team does need a good showing at three in order to overcome the Spurs.

It has been what has plagued the team. Against the Rockets the Lakers shot just 25 percent of three-point shots, making eight of 32 attempts. Against the Trail Blazers, LA shot 23.3 percent on 7-30 shooting.

This will be no easy feat against the Spurs, either, as the team allowed the sixth-lowest three-point percentage last season. With a banged up backcourt, the Spurs rank 26th this season. However, Gregg Popovich will use the Lakers’ weak spots against them and force the team to make bad shots.
