The Los Angeles Rams look to extend the team’s perfect record to half a season and standing in the way is Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.

The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Green Bay Packers this Sunday afternoon at LA Coliseum. It is a much anticipated showdown between two powerhouse teams featuring offensive superstars.

On the Rams side, they come in to the game after manhandling the 49ers 39-10 on the road last week. Todd Gurley rushed for only 63 yards but had three total touchdowns. The defense also had four takeaways and a blocked punt for a touchdown.

The Rams are going into this match up almost fully healthy. They had three players on the injury report Wednesday who were Michael Brockers, Ndamukong Suh, and Cooper Kupp. While Brockers and Suh are projected to come back to practice soon, Kupp’s injury remains the most concerning.

After being injured against Denver in week 6, Kupp remains day to day but is thought of as doubtful according to Head Coach Sean McVay. With Kupp more than likely out, his two wideout partners Brandin Cooks, and Robert Woods will likely take a heavier workload on the offensive side along with Todd Gurley.

Woods currently paces the Rams offensive attack with 602 receiving yards, and three touchdowns while his counterpart on the outside Cooks has 569 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, Gurley leads the NFL in rush yards 686 rushing yards and also has 14 total touchdowns.

These three will lead the offense along with QB Jared Goff.

For the Packers, they are led by QB Aaron Rodgers and his clutch play.

They are coming off a comeback win against the 49ers 30-27 in Week 6 in which Rodgers threw for over 400 yards yet again.

Over their bye week, the Packers tried to get healthy and they may get some good news in part as wide receivers  Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison may be back as early as this week against the Los Angeles Rams. Assuming they come back, they will be a huge threat in the slot and downfield for Rodgers.

Although, the Packers are led by number one receiver Davante Adams who has been nothing short of a superstar. Adams leads the Pack with 557 yards receiving, 47 catches, and 6 touchdowns. He is the most important part of the wide receiver trio and will try to make his mark in this afternoon tilt.

dark. Next. Packers present a trap game

This game should be a shootout as it features a great set of skilled receivers on both sides along with two dynamic quarterbacks. Additionally, it features the best running back and leading rusher in the NFL this year Todd Gurley who will definitely make an impact in this game.
