3. LeBron James is more clutch

One of the biggest weapons in the defending Kobe Bryant tool bag is the Mamba Mentality and his clutch gene that LeBron James seemingly doesn’t have. Don’t get me wrong, Kobe has the clutch gene and his Mamba Mentality definitely made him who he was throughout his career.

However, LeBron has been far more clutch in his career than Kobe Bryant was and takes the Mamba Mentality and really raises it another level. You can make the case that if you had to give the ball to either guy you would give it to Kobe, however, LeBron has been better in clutch situations his entire career.

That isn’t even close and is in practically the exact same sample size. How about the free throw argument? LeBron missed two critical free throws against the Spurs earlier in the year, which was perfect ammunition for the LeBron haters.

That was until Matt Ellentuck of SBNation gave us ten times Kobe did the EXACT same thing as LeBron did.

They both have hit some massive shots and are clutch in their own right. However, it is hard to use the clutch argument against LeBron when he simply has been better.
