Best regular-season moment: Dodgers sink Diamondbacks.

In September, the Dodgers played a crucial series in Dodger Stadium while trying to catch the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West. After losing the first game the Dodgers slipped to third place two games behind the Diamondbacks.

Over the next three games, the Dodgers would win all three games by the score of 3-2 with late-inning heroics. On Friday night Justin Turner would hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to even the series.

In back to back moments, the Dodgers won the next two games thanks to the bat of Matt Kemp. Down 2-0 in the bottom of the eighth Kemp hit a three-run home run to win the Saturday night game. On Sunday afternoon Kemp hit a walk-off two-run double for the win. Both hits came off of Diamondbacks reliever Archie Bradley.

When the series was over the Dodgers would find themselves in first place, meanwhile, the Diamondbacks would never again sniff first place going 8-17 over the rest of the season.
