Best Moment Playoffs: Puig Home Run closes NLCS

In a tight 2-1 Game 7 of the NLCS, the Los Angeles Dodgers needed some breathing room to help them clinch their second consecutive World Series appearance.

On the road facing the Milwaukee Brewers, the Dodgers got an opportunity to close out the series in the top of the sixth with runners on base and Yasiel Puig at the plate. With two outs Puig took a Jeremy Jeffress pitch out for a stunning three-run home run.

Puig’s shot turned the game into a 5-1 rout effectively ending the game and series.

Puig had a great run during the end of the season hitting 11 home runs and driving in 25 runs over the last two months of the season. In the playoffs, Puig hit .300 with 15 hits, 2 home runs and 8 runs batted in.
