2. Yasiel Puig

Yasiel Puig is the other example of an established big league talent that could help push the Indians over the edge in trading one of the pitchers. However, Puig arguably has even less trade value than Pederson considering that he only has one more deal left on his contract.

Puig is undoubtedly the better all-around player but the Indians would only be getting one year of Puig. With the team trading away one of the elite arms, it is hard to think that the focus would be on contending in 2019, making a one-year acquisition like Puig useless.

However, if the Indians simply want to trade a pitcher to help another area of the roster, adding Puig is a smart move. He is an elite defender, can be an everyday power-hitting option and would thrive in an American League lineup.

Personally, I do not want to see the Los Angeles Dodgers deal Yasiel Puig. Puig has been part of all six National League West-winning teams and deserves to give it at least one more go in LA to win the World Series.

However, if trading Puig gives the team a better chance of winning said World Series, I am not totally against it.
