Los Angeles Chargers: What it is going to take to defeat the Steelers
By Jason Reed
The Los Angeles Chargers have a huge test in Week 13 as the team heads to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers.
The Los Angeles Chargers have been one of the better teams in the NFL and enter Week 13 with an impressive 8-3 record. If it were not for a terrible game against the Denver Broncos in which the team lost on a last-second field goal, the Chargers would be tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for the best record in the AFC.
Even though the Chargers are up there with the AFC’s best, the team is still only the fifth seed in the AFC’s playoff picture. While it is unlikely, the Chargers could actually win out, tie the Chiefs’ record and still be the fifth seed despite having a 13-3 record.
One of the reasons that it is unlikely is because the Chargers have two pretty tough games remaining on the schedule. The first of which is coming up this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team that also lost to the Denver Broncos last week.
The Chargers certainly are capable of beating the Steelers and if the Chargers want to be considered a true contender the team has to beat at least one playoff team. Unless the Titans or Seahawks make the playoffs, that has not happened.
This is a big game for the Chargers to prove who they really are and to prove any potential doubters wrong. Here are three things the Chargers must do in order to get this huge win over the Steelers.
