1. Anthony Davis

Uhh… ya think?

Anthony Davis is up there with all three of those guys mentioned in the previous slide and is arguably the most talented of that bunch right now (or it is the Greek Freak, depending on who you ask).

Davis has legitimate ties to the Los Angeles Lakers, though and it seems like Davis will one day suit up in the purple and gold, if everything goes as planned.

The only thing about this is that the Lakers would have to throw in more than just Brandon Ingram. Kyle Kuzma would also have to package alongside Ingram alongside an unprotected pick and protected pick in the future.

That is a lot to give but I would still give it in a heartbeat for Anthony Davis, who is set up to be one of the three best players in the league for the next 10 seasons.

The only concern about this is the contracts. If the Lakers do not get this deal done now, when they have the expiring contracts to trade, the front office is going to have to wait. The team is going to have to wait until an extension can kick in on Ingram in order to match Davis’ salary.

That means the Lakers would have to wait until the summer of 2020. We’ll see if there are any tricky moves that Magic Johnson pulls off to accelerate the process.
