The Los Angeles Lakers are eventually going to add a second superstar alongside LeBron James which could mean trading Lonzo Ball.

It is no secret that the Los Angeles Lakers are in the market for a second superstar and will likely do whatever it takes to land said star. Nobody, except LeBron James, is safe on the roster in a trade if the price is right.

While the front office might want to add said second superstar, Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka are still smart enough to know when not to trade away any of their young assets. They are only going to make a deal if the fit is right and it pushes the team closer to winning the NBA Title.

Lonzo Ball might not be super popular with the Laker fanbase but he undoubtedly has value. Ball is good in nearly every area of the game except putting the ball in the basket, however, he still is not terrible at scoring.

The scoring will eventually come as most young players usually have hiccups in scoring the rock. The progressions that Ball has made elsewhere show that he can be an elite defender as well as someone that flirt with a triple-double on a nightly basis.

Let’s also not forget that Ball averaged more points per game his rookie year than Brandon Ingram.

We already went through the only two realistic players worth trading Brandon Ingram for. Now, we are going to give you the two players that the Lakers could land in a package headlined by Lonzo Ball.
