Los Angeles Dodgers: Three minor leaguers that could impact 2019
By Jason Reed
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ continued success is due to the team’s stacked farm system from the coveted prospects to the breakouts that nobody saw coming.
It takes a lot to be successful in the MLB. The window for contention in the MLB is so small and it is extremely hard for a team to consistently make the playoffs for more than three years in a row. Everything has to go right for a team to go on that kind of run.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are currently on the third-longest postseason streak in MLB history, winning six consecutive National League West titles in the process.
Of course, there is no World Series ring to go with those postseason berths, but making the postseason six years in a row is no easy feat and the Dodgers have continually put themselves in a position to get that ring. There is no end in sight for this current crop of guys, so there is still a chance that the World Series will come soon.
While the Dodgers have had the coveted prospects in Clayton Kershaw, Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger, the team has found plenty of diamond in the roughs to lead to this continued success.
Justin Turner, Chris Taylor, Kenley Jansen and Max Muncy instantly come to mind when discussing unexpected prospects that turned into stars.

In this article, we dive into the farm system. Here are three prospects that could have a big impact in 2019 that you otherwise would not have seen coming.
