Phase two:

War Machine: Kenley Jansen, Los Angeles Dodgers

If Clayton Kershaw is Iron Man then Kenley Jansen has to be War Machine. Jansen has been a part of all six of the Dodgers’ consecutive postseason appearances and has been regarded the entire time as the second-best arm on the Dodgers, behind Kershaw, of course.

Falcon: Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels

Eh, I really do not like this one.

I went with Shohei Ohtani because of the Captain America/Mike Trout connection that Ohtani has. In some ways, you can draw a connection as Falcon has had a role in both the military world and the superhero world; Ohtani has a role in the hitting world and the pitching world.

Again, eh.

Bucky: Rajon Rondo, Los Angeles Lakers

This one was another extremely hard one to pick out. I really could not think of anyone for Bucky and wanted to somehow connect it to Mike Trout.

However, Rajon Rondo makes sense because, like Bucky, he eventually became the enemy of his former fan base (starting his career as a Boston Celtic and now being on the Lakers). Eh, decent.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Avery Bradley, Lou Williams, Los Angeles Lakers & Clippers

Get it? It is the five-best guards from both of the Los Angeles basketball teams. GUARDians of the Galaxy? Ok, I’ll stop now.

Quicksilver: Brandin Cooks, Los Angeles Rams

There are very few people that are faster in the football than Brandin Cooks on the Los Angeles Rams. Quicksilver did not last very long in the MCU, Cooks will be a Ram for quite some time as he signed a five-year extension past this season.

Scarlet Witch: Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams

Ok, we know that Cooper Kupp is not a female like Scarlet Witch so this might not make sense. However, Scarlet Witch is the twin sister of Quicksilver with different superpowers. Cooper Kupp, in a sense, is Cooks twin brother in the Rams’ passing game, with different powers.

Cooks succeeds with speed out wide, Kupp succeeds with quick cuts and elusiveness in the slot.

Vision: Sean McVay, Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams get the clean sweep of the new heroes from Avengers: Age of Ultron and have Sean McVay coming in as Vision. While McVay does not have the soul stone in his forehead (at least, we don’t think), he is the mastermind that brought this Los Angeles Rams team to life.

While the Rams did go out and add pieces, it was McVay that got the most out of Jared Goff and Todd Gurley because of his offensive visions.
