Football fans are going to be treated with another great Sunday Night Football game as the Los Angeles Rams are on the road to face the Chicago Bears.

The Los Angeles Rams head to Chicago on Sunday night to take on the Chicago Bears. The Rams’ high powered offense will go up against one of the best defenses in the league.

The Bears lead the league with 30 takeaways so far this season. Also, Mitch Tribusky has improved a lot from this year to last year. The Rams Defense will have their hands full in this game.

Here are three key matchups to watch for.

Tarik Cohen vs. Rams linebackers

Tarik Cohen will be a tough matchup for the Rams linebackers. He lines up all over the field; sometimes he lines up at running back and will also line up at slot receiver. Bears coach Matt Nagy has found creative ways to use Cohen this year. As a running back, Cohen leads the Bears in catches (59) and receiving yards (659).

The Bears will try to get the ball into Cohen’s hands as much as possible. Rams Linebackers Mark Barron and Corey Littleton will need to play their best game and tackle well. If they do not tackle well, it will be costly with Cohen’s speed and agility. The Rams will need to know where he is at all times; he is the Bears most dangerous offensive weapon.

Andrew Whitworth vs. Khalil Mack

This is the matchup I’m looking forward to, being a former offensive and defensive lineman, I love the battle in the trenches.

This one will be a heavyweight fight. You have two All-Pros in Andrew Whitworth and Khalil Mack. Mack has been great this year with the Bears; he has nine sacks and five forced fumbles, he knows how to get to the quarterback.

Whitworth is playing great football this year also, but he will have his hands full Sunday night, Mack is a different animal.

Jared Goff is known to hold the ball a long time in the pocket, he will not be able to do that in this game, he needs to get rid of the ball quickly because Mack will be coming, but I expect Whitworth to hold his on in this matchup.

Sean McVay vs. Vic Fangio

The chess match between Sean McVay and Vic Fangio will be exciting. McVay will do what he does, try to find the mismatches that the Rams can exploit and use a lot misdirection play action and screens to test the Bears discipline.

I also think he will lean on Todd Gurley a bit more this game. Even though the Bears have the second-best run defense in the NFL, you do not want to be one dimensional against them.

Fangio will mix up coverages and looks up front to try and confuse the Rams offense. I also think Fangio will try to attack the Rams offense and play physical with them to knock them off their game.

dark. Next. Staff predictions for Rams-Bears

I think the most important thing for Fangio to preach to the Bears defense is to stay disciplined because if you’re not the Los Angeles Rams will eat you alive.
