The Los Angeles Rams are coming off an ugly loss to the Chicago Bears and will host the Philadelphia Eagles, who are playing without Carson Wentz.

The Los Angeles Rams, for the first time all season, looked tremendously beatable last week. While the team did lose to the New Orleans Saints, the offense was still explosive and the team nearly overcame a big deficit to come back on the road.

That loss is something you can hang your head high over. The loss to the Bears, though, was ugly in every sense and made the Rams look extremely human.

Jared Goff played horrible, Todd Gurley didn’t do anything and the efforts of the usually suspect defense were not enough.

Good thing the Rams pretty much have a top-two seed locked down and even if they have to play on the road in the NFC Championship Game would be playing indoors in the Superdome.

On Sunday night, the Rams are returning to the fair weather of Los Angeles to take on the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles, who are holding onto the postseason by a thread. Here are our predictions for the 2017 rematch.

Jamaal Artis (16-6): 34-21, Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have to win this Sunday after their debacle against Chicago. Luckily for them, they get a mediocre Philadelphia Eagles team reeling from losing QB Carson Wentz.

Time for Jared Goff and the rest of the offense to redeem themselves.

Lamarr Fields (15-9): 34-17, Los Angeles Rams

I think the Rams get back on track this facing the Eagles’ terrible secondary. Look for the Rams to use Todd Gurley more than they did last week.

Redan Lopez (15-7): 38-28, Los Angeles Rams

The Rams will be looking for a big rebound after getting manhandled by the Chicago Bears last week. I’m looking for Rams’ Quarterback Jared Goff and Running Back Todd Gurley to have big games.

Both disappointed last week; Goff had four interceptions and Gurley had only 11 rushing yards. They both should fare much better against a dedicated Philadelphia defense, especially its injury-riddled secondary.

The loss of Carson Wentz for Philadelphia makes a mediocre offense even more limited. The Eagles will have to count on backup Quarterback Nick Foles to lead, and I just do not see him having much success.

The Rams should have a much better start and take a big lead. The Eagles will not have the firepower to counter.

Jason Reed (22-3): 40-20, Los Angeles Rams

I have to brag about myself for a second. In being the only one to pick the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night, I have clinched having the most wins for the NFL season. Thank you, thank you, it has been a blast.

Anyways, I have to go with the staff on this one and go with the Los Angeles Rams. This is going to be a statement game for the Rams after that ugly loss and the Philadelphia Eagles are going to see their playoff chances fade away.

Next. Preview of Eagles-Rams. dark

I expect a vintage Rams performance from earlier in the season. This is the team’s last challenge of the season, so expect the entire playbook to be open as the team will transition to preparing for the playoffs with easy wins against the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers coming up.
