1. The Los Angeles Chargers are the best road team in football

One of the biggest reasons for the Chargers success this season is how good they are on the road. Heck, you already know how it is, even home games at the StubHub Center are usually road games. Games against the Chiefs, Raiders, Broncos and any other notable team usually have more road fans in the stadium than home fans.

However, when the Chargers are actually on the road, they are nothing short of spectacular. Los Angeles is 6-1 on the road this season, which is the best in the NFL alongside the New Orleans Saints. The only road loss for the Chargers was against the LA Rams, which, wasn’t much of a road game.

These are not pushover road wins, either. The Chargers have three notable wins on the road in playoff atmospheres against playoff teams.

The first was in Seattle against the Seahawks. A woeful kicking day from Caleb Sturgis made this game much closer than it should have been but the Chargers still walked away with an eight-point win. AFC teams just don’t go into Seattle and outclass the Seahawks.

The second notable win was the 16-point comeback win in Pittsburgh on a game-winning field goal. And of course, the most recent win was a massive road win in Kansas City that shocked the Chiefs.

The Chargers also defeated the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders on the road. Throw in a London game that was technically a home game and the Chargers are elite away from Los Angeles.
