2. Bradley Beal is good enough to be the second star alongside LeBron James

Bradley Beal and John Wall have not found much success together in Washington D.C. despite being two of the best players at their respective positions. While nobody expects the Wizards to win a title, it definitely is fair to say that the duo has underperformed in their time together.

Those results might make people think that Beal is not a good enough player to be the second-best guy on a title-winning team, especially considering the Lakers have to go toe-to-toe with the Golden State Warriors to even get to the NBA Finals at all.

And while that logic is understandable, Beal would be the perfect piece to put alongside James to contend for the title.

James has always been at his best when he has an elite scorer alongside him, particularly in the backcourt. Beal is an elite scorer and can help take the pressure off of LeBron by creating his own looks while also being an off-ball menace to be LeBron’s go-to guy.

The prospects of adding an elite big man certainly are intriguing but style wise Beal is a great fit. He might not be the lockdown sharpshooter that Klay Thompson is but he provides a very similar dynamic to this Lakers team as Thompson, who has been touted as the perfect teammate for LeBron.

Beal and Wall’s play styles have not meshed well and the results have shown. However, having an elite distributor in LeBron running the offense is only going to make Beal better than he already is.
