This one is very, very similar to the previous trade and even includes a pitching prospect sent from the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, in this case, it is a prospect that is higher up the totem pole than Gray in Mitchell White.

White is still viewed as one of the best pitchers in the Dodgers organization but has lost some of his allure and now is an expendable piece in a farm system full of starting pitching.

Jose Abreu is a similar right-handed bat, although he does not have as high of numbers against left-handed pitching as Castellanos. However, Abreu has shown that he can be one of the games most elite power hitters and would fit in perfectly as the fifth hitter in the order.

This one would take some maneuvering among the lineup as well as Abreu is obviously a first baseman. Cody Bellinger would move to center field with Max Muncy being a platoon option at second, opening the door for Abreu at first.

The Dodgers already had reported interest in Abreu and there have been some rumblings of the White Sox being interested in Pederson, although that has not been confirmed by a reputable source by the time of writing this article.

Either way, the White Sox would be doing the traditional one year for multiple years swap and the Dodgers would be getting a nice power-hitting bat.
