Justin Turner is a huge component of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ foundation and is looking to lead the team to finally get over the World Series hump in 2019.

Justin Turner is a huge portion of the Los Angeles Dodgers‘ foundation for success and is arguably the most popular player after the team traded both Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig. Turner’s impact on the Dodgers is tremendous, so large in fact that the city of Los Angeles even granted him his own day.

It is impossible to deny how important Turner is to the Dodgers and how he is one of the truly elite third basemen in the league. Turner is about as clutch as it comes and is as consistent as it gets at the plate. He is going to work long counts, battle when he is down two strikes and often put the ball in play with hard contact.

What makes Turner an even better feel-good story for the Los Angeles Dodgers is that the team brought him in when he was virtually a bench filler. Turner blossomed into much more than that and truly is one of baseball’s best hidden finds.

Not everything is great about Turner, though, as he does struggle to stay on the field with health. While this is not really his fault, especially when he breaks his wrist on a hit by pitch, it is a narrative that deserves attention.

Either way, Turner is still one of the most important players on the entire roster. Here are three bold predictions for him in 2019.
