1. Phoenix Suns

If there is a team that should be in on Lonzo Ball to be their point guard it is the Phoenix Suns. The Suns are boasting their own young core, although it is not as far along as the Lakers, and would benefit greatly from dipping their hands in the pot and getting Lonzo Ball to play in the backcourt alongside Devin Booker.

Booker and Ball would complement each other wonderfully in the backcourt. Ball is obviously the all-around guard that can run an offense with ease, distribute the basketball and quite frankly would be the engine that the Suns need on offense.

Booker would be the scorer that benefits the most from this added engine, who would get better looks than he has in his career with Ball running the show. Ball gets the entire team involved while allowing Booker to do what he does best, score.

The Suns have some young pieces that they can add into the trade as well that could benefit the Pelicans. Perhaps the team can send either of the young forwards, Josh Jackson or Mikal Bridges, alongside the Bucks’ protected pick that they acquired for Eric Bledsoe.

That would give the Pelicans a young trio of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Jackson/Bridges as well as probably two picks, one from Phoenix and one from LA. Meanwhile, the Suns get the perfect traditional point guard while also potentially opening the door for Zion Williamson, if the tank continues.
