Only one thing is ever constant with the Los Angeles Dodgers: success. Aside from that, whatever else happens in a season is a crapshoot.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have the third-longest postseason appearance streak in MLB history and have arguably become the best MLB dynasty to not win the World Series.

While that is a sad fact, there is one guarantee that the Los Angeles Dodgers can take to the bank every season: the team is going to be successful. October is always up in the air but the Dodgers are going to be a winning team in the regular season.

Even when things looked the bleakest the Dodgers overcame the odds, closed the gap in the National League West and became NL West Champions on the 163rd game of the season. Dodger fans can expect a competitive and fun team.

That is about all that Dodger fans can expect. Every year there are different storylines, different breakout players, different players regressing. There has been a pretty significant trade in each of the last three years and has been a fair share of injuries.

The Dodgers perfectly represent the craziness that is a 162-game MLB season. While baseball itself is usually viewed as mundane, there is so much that goes on, especially when you play nearly every day for six months.

There will be surprises in 2019, we know that for a fact. Here is our best shot at trying to predict what those surprises will be.
