All year the staff at LA Sports Hub has predicted the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers games. This culminates with Super Bowl LIII.

The Los Angeles Rams are playing in the Super Bowl; no need to pinch yourself, you are not dreaming.

It is safe to say that anyone outside of New England, New Orleans and St. Louis are likely rooting for the Rams. The New England Patriots are the unkillable evil dynasty while the Rams provide a breath of fresh air.

We certainly are rooting for the Los Angeles Rams, although personally, I am a fan of the Los Angeles Chargers. Regardless, it would be awesome to see the city of Los Angeles get another championship and the Rams’ first while in LA.

The biggest game of the year warrants some pretty big states. In the playoffs we counted wins for two points, in the Super Bowl they count at four (although Redan Lopez has already locked up our internal competition).

Let’s get into this.

Jamaal Artis (20-11): 31-17, New England Patriots

The Rams season would have been better served playing a similarly inexperienced Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Instead, they get Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, who are making their ninth big game and 4th in five years.

Despite having the support of America (outside of New England and New Orleans) it won’t be enough to combat the combined powers of those two legends.

*Editor’s note: Jamaal is a Rams fan and has picked against the Rams all postseason as good luck. While it has hurt his record, it has helped his team.

Redan Lopez (26-8): 28-25, Los Angeles Rams

This is it. It’s the big day. It’s all going to come down to who controls the clock and possesses the football the most.

Believe it or not, the Rams and Patriots need a great running game to be successful. I think the Rams’ Running Backs, Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson will get the job done here. This will allow them to keep Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady off the field enough.

Gurley should especially be more involved after touching the ball only five times in the NFC Championship Game. As long as the Rams do not allow any big plays downfield, I expect them to pull this one out.

The Rams will fall behind early due to inexperience in big games of this magnitude. However, they will charge ahead in the second half and maintain their lead. The Los Angeles Rams will be the Super Bowl LIII Champions.

Jason Reed (31-5): 30-27, New England Patriots

I want to pick the Los Angeles Rams, I really, really, really do. There is nothing I would like to see less on Super Bowl Sunday then yet another Patriots Super Bowl win.

However, I have to pick with my gut and not my heart and go with the team that has the experience.

Next. Making our own Super Bowl LIII props. dark

I have a feeling this game is going to be similar to the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl. The Patriots will kick a field goal with a minute and a half remaining and the Rams will get dangerously close to field goal range before a costly turnover.
