All-stars are not uncommon on the Los Angeles Dodgers and in 2019 we could see three players getting the nod for the first time.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been so successful over the last six seasons because of the team’s ability to find new talent while keeping a fundamental core intact.

There have been plenty of great players on the Los Angeles Dodgers that have gone through the team and there has been quite a good amount of all-stars as well. The most notable year of all-star representatives for the Dodgers was 2017, the same year the team won 104 games.

It is not like the Dodgers are sending the same players every single year, either. There certainly are the constants but there have been even more first time all-stars as well. Each of the last five years there has been at least one new all-star coming from the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Last season it was Ross Stripling, who replaced Miles Mikolas on the roster. The year prior to that, when the Dodgers had six all-stars, they sent three first-timers: Justin Turner, Cody Bellinger and Alex Wood.

In 2016 the first-time was Corey Seager, in 2015 it was another rookie in Joc Pederson as well as slugging catcher, Yasmani Grandal. And finally, Yasiel Puig and Dee Gordon were both first-timers in 2014.

If history is any indication, which it obviously is, the Los Angeles Dodgers are sure to have at least one first-timer in the all-star game. Here are the three players that we think will do it in 2019.
