Several LA Sports coaches have been let go in the past few months so we decided to survey which remaining coaches are on the hottest seat.

Over the weekend the Anaheim Ducks let go of coach Randy Carlyle ending his tenure with the team. On December 17th the Ducks were a respectable 19-11-5 and since then the Ducks have gone an abysmal 2-15-4 leaving general manager Bob Murray no choice but to dump Carlyle.

One could argue that Carlyle, with such a terrible turn to the season, was the coach sitting in the hottest seat among the teams in all of Southern California. In fact, Carlyle was the third coach since October to be fired as the Los Angeles Kings fired their coach Brad Stevens and the UCLA Men’s basketball coach Steve Alford was also fired.

While he was not fired, Angels manager Mike Scioscia decided to step down in October as well. The only reason he probably wasn’t fired was out of respect from the Angels’ front office.

With Carlyle gone who are the coaches in So Cal that find themselves in jeopardy of having to spruce up their resumes?
