1. Zach Brown, LB

The Los Angeles Rams can certainly get better at linebacker but I am not sure if it is worth a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Luckily for the Rams, the team can pick up a quality inside linebacker for a mid-round pick.

Zach Brown’s days in Washington seem numbered and it would not be all that surprising if the Redskins are already shopping the linebacker. Brown dealt with some nagging injuries last season and was actually benched by the Redskins for missing practice because he was sick.

Yes, really.

That has led to Brown even saying that he sees the writing on the wall for a departure from the Redskins.

Brown has an $18.25 million cap hit over the next two seasons that the Redskins definitely don’t want to pay. Brown could even be a candidate to be cut, however, the Redskins should know that they can get something out of him instead of simply cutting him.

Enter the Los Angeles Rams, who can probably get Brown for a fourth-round and future seventh-round pick.

I know that NFL teams value draft picks but the fact is that the Rams are not going to get a linebacker that can have an immediate impact in the fourth round like Brown will have.

It is a hefty cap hit for the linebacker but with Jared Goff still on his rookie contract for the next two years, the Rams can afford it.
