Jalen Ramsey is one of the most polarizing players in all of the NFL. His trash talk is known throughout the league and he has made a name for himself as an elite corner and someone that will not only lock receivers down, but get in their head.

His feud with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is hilarious and Ramsey if the kind of trash talking cornerback that the NFL loves to see. Yet, for some reason, his name has been somewhat mentioned in trade talks this offseason.

While there are no concrete reports there is speculation that the Ramsey could be on the move from the Jacksonville Jaguars. While it would be surprising, I would not be all that shocked because this is a business and NFL teams are going to look to improve any way they can.

If Ramsey is indeed being shopped the Chargers can give a cornerback in return in Casey Hayward alongside a third-round pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

This trade makes sense for the Jaguars as Hayward is under team control for one more season and might alleviate any locker room issues, if there is any at all, with Ramsey on the team.

For the Chargers, they get an upgrade from Ramsey that could arguably give the team the best 1-2 cornerback duo in the league in Ramsey and Desmond King.
