This would not only be the biggest trade that the Los Angeles Rams could make but it could be the biggest trade of the entire offseason and one of the biggest in NFL history. With Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell potentially being traded, though, this trade might not get all of the spotlight that it deserves.

Either way, this trade would be absolutely massive and would be an upgrade for the Los Angeles Rams at wide receiver.

The chances of this trade happening are slim as the Giants did extend Odell Beckham last offseason and it appears that management has no inclination to trade him away. However, if Beckham is miserable in New York, he can easily attempt to force his way out in a similar fashion as Antonio Brown.

The Rams would be a nice fit and the team has exactly what the Giants should be looking for in a potential trade: another number one receiver. Once the Giants replace Eli Manning with a better quarterback the team has a chance to be pretty good with Saquon Barkley and either Beckham or Cooks.

In fact, if you look at the numbers, you could make the case that Cooks is at least as good as Beckham.

Cooks has also caught passes from Drew Brees, Tom Brady and Jared Goff his entire career while Beckham has been stuck with a regressing Manning.

Cooks and two draft picks is a fair price for Beckham and anything more than that would not make this trade worth it for the Rams.
