Jalen Ramsey is another guy that has seen his name somewhat circling in NFL trade rumors this offseason. While there have not been any concrete reports of the Jaguars shopping Ramsey, it has been one of the biggest talking points around the team this offseason alongside with the team’s need to draft a quarterback.

Ramsey has two more years on his contract if his team picks up his option for the 2020 season (why wouldn’t they?) and this trade would be the classic NFL team trying to save a cap hit trade.

Ramsey has a $7.4 million cap hit, which is not too bad for a player of his caliber but is still a noticeable number in the checkbooks.

Similar to what the team did for Brandin Cooks, the Rams can provide the Jaguars with that relief and take on Ramsey for three picks, which is headlined by the team’s first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Some might be opposed to trading a first for Ramsey but c’mon, it is the 31st overall pick. Two picks later and it would be a second-round pick, which everyone would be okay with dealing for Ramsey.

The Rams can bring Ramsey in to help the duo of Peters and Talib and would have an immediate impact and would make those guys better. Plus, the Rams would undoubtedly cement themselves as having the best trash talking secondary probably ever and wouldn’t that be great to watch?
