The Los Angeles Rams number one priority this offseason might be adding linebacker help, which may lead to some trades by the front office.

The Los Angeles Rams do not have a lot of needs heading into the NFL offseason. For the most part, the Rams have fewer holes than most NFL teams and will enjoy a successful 2019 campaign regardless of what the front office does this offseason.

That does not mean that the front office is going to be complacent and not add any additional pieces in the offseason. Los Angeles obviously has the 2019 NFL Draft to work with, a pretty decent free agent class and of course, trades.

The Rams were trade-happy last offseason, trading for Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and Brandin Cooks. Peters and Talib were not the elite tandem that the Rams were hoping for but Cooks signed an extension and is the team’s clear-cut number one receiver moving forward.

The Los Angeles Rams may look to employ the same strategy this offseason in adding defensive help by trading for an outside linebacker. Quite frankly, the Rams could use help at both outside and inside linebacker, but with Dante Fowler Jr. potentially leaving the outside should be the higher priority.

We already took a look at some outside linebackers that the Rams could draft in the 2019 NFL Draft. Now, let’s take a look at potential outside linebackers that the team could trade for this offseason.
