Trade #1:

The Los Angeles Rams have been without a first-round pick in the last two NFL Drafts. Los Angeles did not have the pick in 2017 after trading up the year prior to draft Jared Goff with the first overall pick. In 2018, the Rams traded the pick to the New England Patriots for Brandin Cooks.

The Los Angeles Rams could continue that trend and send a pair of first-round picks alongside a fourth-round pick to the Steelers for Brown. On the surface, this might seem like a lot but it really is not a bad price for the best receiver in football.

Sure, it is two first-round picks but this year’s pick is the 31st overall and is two picks away from being a second-round pick. The same will likely be the case in the 2020 NFL Draft as well; two picks lower than 28th overall and a fourth is a steal for Brown.

It is all about the labeling and if the Rams were trading two second-round picks that were both 33rd overall then every fan would be jumping at the idea. However, just because it is first-round picks, fans tend to get wary.

This would be worth it and it wouldn’t be crazy to see the Steelers agree to it. However, this would create a very crowded receiving corps, which makes it less likely.
