Ndamukong Suh is a free agent this offseason now that his one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams is up and the Rams might need to find a replacement.

The Los Angeles Rams made several big moves during the 2018 offseason, one of which being signing former All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a one-year contract.

Suh got paid pretty well to play one year in LA and likely took up the deal to have a chance to play alongside Aaron Donald on the defensive line. At that time, Donald’s future was unclear. However, the Rams were able to sign him to an extension and he won Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Suh was not as high-level as he was with the Detroit Lions but he certainly was a force at defensive tackle and was one of the most important players in the entire defense.

Now, Suh might be looking for a long-term deal, which could lead him outside of LA. Suh is an unrestricted free agent this offseason and has the luxury to sign wherever he pleases. The Los Angeles Rams smartly want to bring Suh back, but that means nothing.

The decision is solely Suh’s.

Even if Suh is the team’s first priority the front office has to look at other options as potential replacements just in case he does sign with another team. With that in mind, here are three options that the Rams should already be considering to replace Ndamukong Suh.
