1. Gerald McCoy

Gerald McCoy should be one of the first players that the Los Angeles Rams check in on if the team wants to go the trading route of adding a defensive tackle. Whether or not the Buccaneers should trade McCoy is an offseason discussion that has an easy answer.

Tampa Bay realistically has no shot at the Super Bowl in the coming years and would benefit much more from trading McCoy and his cap hit, especially with the team entering a new regime under Bruce Arians.

McCoy has a $13 million cap hit this season and just under $25.5 million across the following two seasons. That is a pretty hefty number for a defensive tackle in the NFL and the Rams should look to benefit from that.

Since his contract is so high the Los Angeles Rams might be able to get away with sending two third-round picks to the Buccaneers for McCoy. For three years of team control that is not a bad price whatsoever.

Like Suh, McCoy is not as good as he was in his prime but is still a great player nonetheless and would be even better alongside Aaron Donald. HIs run-stuffing prowess in the middle is exactly what the Los Angeles Rams should be looking for.
