2. Allen Bailey

If the Los Angeles Rams were to go the free agent route then the team’s best option would be former Kansas City Chief, Allen Bailey.

There are arguably better options available for the Rams in free agency and one notable name, aside from Suh, is Sheldon Richardson. However, if the Rams are going to go out and pay for one of the biggest name defensive tackles, the team might as well pay for Suh.

Bailey’s contract would not be peanuts but it certainly could be something that the Rams could afford. He has posted sneaky good numbers and since he is nearing 30 he won’t get the money he would have otherwise.

Bailey recorded six sacks last season to go along with 10 quarterback hits and four fumble recoveries. Last season probably was the best of Bailey’s career but the Rams know exactly what the team will get from him if he is healthy.

Bailey is good for four to six sacks and double-digit quarterback hits. All of the years that he has been healthy he has posted very similar numbers.

Those numbers would likely be inflated as well playing alongside Donald, who will be doubled more than anyone in Kansas City and will open the door for Bailey.

Bailey is not a guy that is going to be the best player on the defensive side of the ball but is someone that could make a difference.
