3. Corey Seager

Seager should be moved back one spot in the order and stake claim in the third spot in the Dodgers lineup as the best all-around hitter on the Dodgers. Some would argue that Justin Turner is the better all-around hitter, and that is fine, but he is also a better run producer, so he should hit behind Seager.

All of the reasons why we think Verdugo should hit second are all the same reasons that we think Seager should hit third. Having two bats ahead of him in the order instead of just one is naturally going to open more RBI chances for Seager, who has the power and offensive prowess to score runs but doesn’t get as many chances as Turner.

Having Verdugo hit second and Seager hit third is something that can be utilized every day and does not have to be platooned. Verdugo actually hit southpaws better in AAA in 2018 and Seager does not have the dreaded offensive split. If you hit Seager second it might chance who the Dodgers hit at cleanup on a daily basis.

It does not really matter where Seager hits in the lineup. He is going to be great and is going to prove why his bat is so important to this offensive and why his injury last season really restricted the team, even with Manny Machado.
