1. Free agent option: Josh Bynes

Ironically, Josh Bynes also got released by the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday and is now a fit for the Los Angeles Rams, who just released Mark Barron. It might seem like backward logic to replace a guy you just released with another guy, who was also released, but it does make sense for the Rams.

Bynes was released by the Arizona Cardinals despite signing a three-year contract with the team the year prior. Bynes was actually fairly good for the Cardinals this season as well before a thumb injury ended his season after 11 games.

In those 11 games, Bynes recorded 75 total tackles two sacks and five pass deflections. It arguably was the best year of the veteran’s career and he should be poised for another good season in 2019.

It is not like Bynes will cost a lot and that the Cardinals are saving a lot of money. The team is only saving $1.775 million in cap space this season, which is minimal compared to what the Rams are saving.

The Los Angeles Rams can sign Bynes to a one-year contract worth the veteran minimum and can get a lot out of the veteran backer. He is on the other side of 30, which could be a concern, but he is a relatively low-risk, high-reward option that would be paid much less than Barron.
