3. Mike Trout gets to stay in Southern California

I think the best thing that the Los Angeles Angels have going for them in this Trout situation is the fact that Trout has spent his entire career in Anaheim and has likely fallen in love with the team and with Southern California.

Every report that has come out has signaled that Trout really enjoys his time with the Angels and I have not met a single person that did not love Southern California (besides the prices, of course).

What sounds better, playing every home game in 72-degree weather or going to Philadelphia where it is going to be extremely cold at the beginning of the season as well as the end of the season? When you put it that way it really makes more sense.

The Dodgers present the perfect situation for Trout to move to a contending team that he knows will give him postseason chances without uprooting his established life in Southern California.

Sure, he probably has a home back East that he spends his offseasons in but the charm of California is hard to overcome. Especially when everything that has come out around Trout is positive, unlike Manny Machado, who seemingly wanted to stay away from the West Coast.

Next. Dodgers that will shock the world in 2019. dark

It might sound a bit trivial and honestly, it kind of is. However, these are real factors that real human beings consider and the Los Angeles Dodgers check off the right box.
