The Los Angeles Rams have traded away first-round picks in the last two NFL Drafts and could be inclined to go the other direction in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The 2019 NFL Draft is already primed to be different than the last two years for the Los Angeles Rams. What makes this draft different for the Rams is the fact that the team has a selection in the first round, although it is still two picks shy of the second round.

The Los Angeles Rams have traded the team’s first-round pick in the last two drafts with the last first-round selection by the Rams being the current starting quarterback, Jared Goff.

The team’s 2017 first-round pick was traded to the Tennessee Titans in that 2016 trade so the Rams could move up and select Goff. Prior to the 2018 NFL Draft, the team traded its first-round pick to the New England Patriots for Brandin Cooks. That pick ended up being Sony Michel, the only player with a touchdown in Super Bowl LIII.

Now there is still a chance that the Rams do what the front office did last season and flip the first-round pick for an already established player. However, with multiple needs on the team, the Rams might be better off going towards youth this offseason.

The only problem is that the Rams have the 31st overall pick and there are some really good prospects earlier in the draft that would be beneficial to the Rams. Here are the three players worth trading up for in the 2019 NFL Draft.
