1. Chris Taylor

Unfortunately for Chris Taylor, spring training has served as a double-edged sword that has hurt him in multiple ways.

Heading into spring training the closest position battle on the Dodgers was between Taylor and Hernandez at second base. That position battle is practically solved just halfway through spring.

The first side of the sword that is hurting Taylor is the fact that Enrique Hernandez is having a great spring. While Taylor obviously is rooting for his teammate to succeed, Hernandez has been so good that it is impossible to keep him out of the starting lineup.

Hernandez is hitting .423 with two home runs, eight RBIs and a 1.218 OPS in the most plate appearances for any Dodger this spring. Not only is he thriving at the plate but Hernandez is also flashing the leather this spring as well.

So that is obviously hurting Taylor but it does not make it any better that he is struggling at the plate as well. Taylor is hitting just .227 in 24 plate appearances this spring and has struck out six times. He has reached base just one more time than he has struck out.

Taylor might end up being in the Opening Day lineup if Corey Seager has any setbacks but he has not done much to win a job. His constant strikeouts have continued into spring and it is becoming clear that pitchers found a hole in his swing.
