1. Ndamukong Suh

We are starting you off with one that might seem surprising and one that you probably disagree with. Ndamukong Suh signed a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams prior to the 2018 NFL season and played well on the defensive line alongside Aaron Donald.

While he was still nowhere close to being in his prime, Suh as solid for the Rams and his absence would leave a pretty big hole at nose tackle. As big as that hole might seem, the Rams should avoid signing Suh for a second straight year.

If Suh was willing to take another one-year deal then it would be absolutely worth it for the Rams. However, Suh took a chance last year with that one-year deal and should now be looking at long-term contracts. Some team will probably give him three years worth $45-50 million.

That is simply a contract that the Los Angeles Rams cannot take on for a player that is 32 years old and has proven that his best days are behind him. Aaron Donald, Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks are all getting paid big money and that is with Jared Goff still on his rookie contract.

Seeing Suh on another team in 2019 might seem criminal but the defensive tackle simply falls just outside of the Rams’ realistic price range.
