2. Brandon Marshall

At his best, Brandon Marshall is one of the best linebackers in the NFL and has been great for the Denver Broncos, even winning a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl 50. The Los Angeles Rams need an inside linebacker after already being thin at the position and releasing Mark Barron to make matters worse.

On paper, this seems like a match on paper. Marshall gets to go play in the beautiful weather of Los Angeles and has a legitimate shot at winning a ring. The Rams, on the other hand, fix their middle linebacker problem before the year.

So, with that in mind, it appears as Marshall, who the Denver Broncos declined a club option for, is a perfect fit for the Los Angeles Rams. And while the Rams are not listed in the five teams interested in Marshall, very little pre-move reports ever come out of the Rams’ signings.

Marshall is great when he is at his best, something he likely will never recapture in the NFL. You could make the legitimate case that his best days are behind him, evident from his underwhelming 2018 season in which he only played 11 games.

However, because of his name and his experience, there is going to be a team that is willing to pay over market value for Marshall. That is why the Los Angeles Rams should never enter the discussion with Marshall to being with.
