4. Enrique Hernandez

Next on the list for the Los Angeles Dodgers is a fan-favorite who has turned into much more than just that: Enrique Hernandez. Hernandez really grew as a massive fan-favorite on the Dodgers and grew nicely into his role as a utility player and a southpaw specialist on the Dodgers.

Every single year Hernandez has gotten better and his role has increased. Last season was his best as a big leaguer and he was borderline elite down the stretch for the Dodgers.

Hernandez did go ice cold in the postseason, which really hurt the Dodgers offense, but he has continued his hot regular season into Spring Training. Hernandez is showcasing a tweaked swing that has led to great slugging numbers in the spring.

Hernandez has been the best hitter on the Dodgers this spring and he has undoubtedly won the second base job over Chris Taylor. Hernandez will probably play over 150 games because of his ability to play multiple positions and is going to yet again post his best career numbers.

Hernandez had a 3.3 WAR on FanGraphs last season, which was the fifth-best on the Dodgers. While he won’t keep his current production up for an entire year, he will be better than last year and will be the fourth-best Dodger in terms of WAR.

2019 WAR prediction: 4.1
