Runs: Corey Seager (97)

Back in the lineup for the Los Angeles Dodgers, presumably at the two spot on a near daily basis, will be Corey Seager.

Dodger fans have certainly missed Seager, who is easily the centerpiece of the franchise moving forward. The loss was cushioned by the addition of Manny Machado and the general baseball world has forgotten about Seager because of his injury but this is the same guy that was an MVP finalist in his rookie season.

In that rookie season, Seager crossed the plate a whopping 105 times and will come close to that number once again in his return year.

Seager won’t quite hit triple-digits, though, as were are assuming that he scores a run in three out of fives games played for the Dodgers. Of course, there will be longer stretches or games that he scores two or more runs, but that is the average in which we were basing it on.

Seager is going to obviously get on base a lot and is going to score with both Justin Turner and Cody Bellinger — who we already know is primed for a great season — hitting behind him.

Our predictions of 97 runs scored is a fair estimate and quite frankly it would not be all that surprising to see Seager get a much higher total. If he gets on base around 250 times, as he did his rookie year, that total could easily be in the 110s.
