The Los Angeles Rams have filled a few of the team’s holes with the initial wave of free agent signings but still have some holes left to fill on the depth chart.

The Los Angeles Rams entered the offseason with some notable holes on the depth chart that had to be filled if the team wanted to repeat the success of the 2018 NFL season. In fact, the Rams needed to get better in order to get over that Super Bowl hump.

The team was not going to have the insane offseason that it had a year ago. The front office simply does not have the resources to make that many splashes because of the cap. However, that has not stopped the team from being busy and filling some holes on the depth chart.

The Rams have brought in four notable free agents, three of which are new faces. The one returning face is Dante Fowler Jr, who signed a one-year contract to stay in LA after having a pretty decent showing with last year’s team.

The new faces consist of some notable names: safety Eric Weddle, linebacker Clay Matthews and quarterback Blake Bortles. Weddle and Matthews will slide right into the starting lineup while Bortles will hopefully grow from playing under Sean McVay behind Jared Goff.

Not all the holes have been filled and it is no problem as the Rams still have the later stages of free agency, the 2019 NFL Draft and even trades at their disposal, if the team wanted to go that route.

Here are those remaining holes that you should be watching for the rest of the offseason.
