5. Signing Klay Thompson

Chance of happening: 5%

Klay Thompson is someone who has been connected to the Los Angeles Lakers for quite some time now and cannot be ruled out as a potential target even if all the signs are indicating that he will stay with the Golden State Warriors.

Thompson would literally be the perfect player to add to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers need shooters to put around LeBron and there is no better shooter to target this offseason than Klay Thompson.

Thompson has championship pedigree and knows what it takes to win. He fills in nicely at shooting guard, where the Lakers are going to need to find a starter, and is used to the media buzz after being a Warrior.

The best part is that he is so nonchalant about everything that he does that he is not someone that is going to be hurt from having to give up the spotlight to LeBron. If anything, Thompson prefers that.

This is such a low chance because it is likely that Thompson re-signs with the Warriors, especially if Kevin Durant signs with another team. However, there is that slim chance that KD does stay in the Bay Area and Thompson leaves or they both even leave.
