The Los Angeles Rams are already one of the best teams in the NFL but cannot downplay the importance of the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams made a stratospheric jump up the NFL ranks over the last few seasons as the team has gone from one of the consistently worst teams in the league to arguably the most fun to watch and a near-Super Bowl Champion.

The Rams, who were 4-12 just three years ago, have won 24 regular season games the last two years and were a terrible offensive showing away from being the Super Bowl LIII Champions.

To compare, the Rams have the same amount of wins the last two seasons as the previous four seasons combined. Since 2004, which was the last time the team made the playoffs prior to this current run, the Rams had five seasons in which they won four or fewer games.

Part of the reason for the team’s success, aside from making one of the best head coach hires in recent memory in Sean McVay, is aggressive decision-making by the front office.

The front office traded up to draft Jared Goff, traded away its first-round pick last season and have made countless additions over the last three years, all leading to what hopefully will be a Super Bowl victory.

Because of this recent track record, the Los Angeles Rams are going to be one of the more exciting teams to watch in the 2019 NFL Draft. Here are the two biggest storylines surrounding the NFC Champs.
