1. Will the Los Angeles Rams move up or down in the draft?

There is a serious case to be made for the Los Angeles Rams picking somewhere other than the 31st overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Rams legitimately could go either direction in the draft and have compelling reasons to trade both up and down in the draft.

As for as trading up, the Rams could take the same approach as the New Orleans Saints last year and move up a dozen or so spots, likely giving up their 2020 first-round pick in the process.

I would not put this past the Rams, especially based on the front office’s activity the last few years. If there is a prospect that the Rams absolutely love, and they fall to a specific spot, there is no doubt that the team would pounce.

However, you could also make the case that the Rams should trade down in the draft and trade their first-round pick for two seconds or a second and a third.

If there is a team that wants to move up to the 31st overall pick and is willing to give up two picks then the Rams would benefit greatly from trading away their selection. While the team would miss out on a first-round pick, they would replace their missing second-round pick while also not losing much.

If there is no great fit for the Rams with the 31st overall pick it makes a ton of sense to trade down.
