The Los Angeles Chargers were one of the best and most entertaining teams in the NFL in 2018 and will have some challenges ahead of them in 2019.

The Los Angeles Chargers‘ 2018 season was perhaps the most fun to watch since the team went 14-2 in San Diego in 2006 and LaDainian Tomlinson broke the single-season rushing touchdown record. Those are huge shoes to fill and the Chargers filled them.

Although the Chargers were routed by the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round, they legitimately looked like one of the best teams in football heading into the playoffs and were not a shocking Super Bowl pick by anyone that made it.

The Chargers had several huge wins and were winning in places that teams just don’t win. They beat the Seahawks in Seattle and came back from multi-score deficits on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Heck, the team went into Baltimore in the AFC Wild Card round and out-Ravened the Ravens with a stout defensive showing. They won close games, won blowouts and were electric on both sides of the ball.

With the joint-best record in the AFC in 2018, the Chargers are now set for some challenges in their 2019 journey. With the 2019 NFL schedules being released on Thursday, we decided to rank, in chronological order, the Chargers’ three most challenging games for 2019.
