Nothing has seemingly gone right for the Los Angeles Lakers over the last year, which has many expecting the worst-case scenario this offseason.

To say that the Los Angeles Lakers have been a circus over the last year is a massive understatement. Nothing around the team since signing LeBron James has seemed all that positive with mistake after mistake and mind-boggling decision making.

It all started with the free agent decisions that the team made last season after it was announced that Paul George would be signing an extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder. While the Lakers could really only sign guys to one-year contracts, the guys they signed just did not mesh well with LeBron James.

Fast forward to the NBA Trade Deadline, when trade talks with the New Orleans Pelicans leaked and it was apparent that the Lakers were willing to trade just about everyone for Anthony Davis. That definitely does not help the locker room morale.

Magic Johnson then resigned as President of Basketball Operations with an impromptu press conference and the Lakers have been undergoing a wild and chaotic search for a new head coach that somehow has involved Linda and Kurt Rambis.

Knowing the Lakers, they will probably sign the wrong head coach.

Head coach aside, the track record over the last year has caused Laker fans to expect the worst, and rightfully so. Because of that, most fans probably don’t even know what they should be rooting for as the best-case scenario.

That is why we are here. If absolutely everything went right for the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason, these are the moves that would be made.
